One of the big questions i had but couldn't find a picture or answer was "So does it really have two pockets?" And yes it does. As for the performance i reviewed this unit along side yeti and Ice mule and a few others and this unit performed on par if not better then some units costing twice as much. The main reason i went with this cooler is of its size an features. I needed something high performing for those trip to the pool or an overnight trip out of town. This units pockets and deep enough to handle most of your essentials IE cellphone,wallet,keys and the cool thing is in the other pocket you can put snacks beach stuff like sunblock ect... And i love how you can fit 12 cans in here with about 7-10lbs of ice max load and yes it fill fit more cans if you minus some ice. I love the form factor once you put in 12 cans it is a stout sturdy little guy. I have this model AO Cooler and a few other for other purposes but this fits the bill if you are looking for a high performance soft-side cooler and don't need more then 12 cans "yes you can fit more" and you want your ice to last more then 12-24hrs. Oh and the build quality is great a solid canvas shell keeps it looking good and it resists, tearing, even if placed on rough terrain.

My husband has had this cooler for over 3 years. He works out of his vehicle. The cooler has been used almost daily inside the vehicle for 8-10+ hour time spans. Sometimes vehicle a/c is on and at other times the cooler is inside a hot vehicle for portions of the day. For 3 summers, using basic ice packs, it kept his items cold even on the hottest of summer days. Recently the cooler has not been able to keep up with the 100 degree weather ... which has likely been warmer inside the vehicle at times. Although it is time to replace it, he was pleased with this product and got a good value for the cost.

Purchased this for several reasons. 1) picnics 2) traveling 3) grabbing groceries. The later was most important as I like to travel around town with my kids and sometimes you make stops to grocery stores but you plan on being out all day. Drop in a few ice packs and go! Great way to accomplish a good day plus gathering some food to prepare for later. Super happy with this purchase. I was really on the fence about getting a Yeti but i’m glad I bought this instead. Nothing against Yeti as I have a bunch of mugs and it’s a good quality product but I couldn’t justify $300 for a soft cooler.

This thing does not hold hold ice as claimed. I have used it on several occasions with the product pre-cooled, Ice that was very frozen and at best the ice will stay in the cooler 8 hours while being kept inside the vehicle with A/C on or inside a home. It is a handy little cooler but not the cooler it is advertised to be.

I bought this because of the size (24 can) and good reviews on being able to hold ice for so long. Unfortunately this cooler doesn’t hold my frozen fruits and ice packs for even 8 hours. I’m a flight attendant, I’m on a cold plane all day, but by the end of my second flight everything is already melted... Size is wonderful for my multi-day trips, I can fit everything I need and more! But doesn’t keep cold.

This is an outstanding cooler with room enough for bathing. I bought the twelve-can version with visions of carrying food and supplies on backpacking trips of ten miles each way or less. I opened the box, saw the size, closed the box and returned it. It is huge. It is much better suited for car camping adventures because it holds so much. Looking inside, it could probably hold a week's worth of food or more, which means I wouldn't even be able to fill it half way. If they made this in a six- or nine-can version, I would jump at the chance to buy it. As it is, I'll have to continue my search.

I had a YETI - notice HAD. I did my research and went ahead and purchased this cooler. I received it this week -delivered very quick by the way. I wanted to go ahead and test it out. I live in South Louisiana were temperatures are in the high 90's. It was an extremely hot day when I tried it out. I put ice in it just at the bottom at 7:30am - I checked it at noon while having it in the full sun and the ice did not even look like it melted still looked like I had just put it in from the freezer! By 7pm that evening the picture I have posted was how it looked by the end of the day. Very little water in the cooler from the ice and still cold as could be! This is my new cooler!! Half the price of a YETI and much easier to open and roomier!

Have had this cooler for little less than 2 years, not impressed by company or product. For starters it shipped without the shoulder strap, annoying, but contacted customer service, took a couple tries, they were polite and said they would send one out... well it never came, could have contacted back, but too busy to hassle - oh well. I’m not a heavy user of the cooler, I’d say we’ve used it maybe 15-20 weekends in the ~18 months we’ve had it, and it really only sat swim meets in AZ. It did keep stuff decently cold (which is good in AZ). But I, just pulled it out to use it and one of the buckets snapped in half, just unclipping it - pathetic. Had purchased it thinking a Yeti hopper wasn’t worth the extra money - I obviously don’t use it much, but now I have a broken cooler and no strap. Those “savings†just cost me more. Wouldn’t recommend this cooler, given both the service and the product. I’ve heard Yeti service can be a little difficult, but frankly I’ve never had a problem that I needed it... you get what you pay for I guess - but this wasn’t that cheap of a cooler!

I bought this to travel with a month saving of breastmilk ( about 35 7 oz bags). It fits on the overhead compartment of 737 super tight, so dont overfill it on the top. It will replace one carry on baggage.I packed about 35 frozen mil bags (previously setting my fridge at the coldest temp) with about5 pounds of ice, it made it with all bags frozen and plenty of ice still intact after 10+ hours of traveling. No sweating from the bag or any indication that i had a 7+ liters of mil on the bag to anyone except of course TSA who after quick inspection let it through.
