I love this cooler! Perfect size for quick day trip out in the RZR. Keeps ice well even in the heat of the Mojave Desert. Going to buy a bigger version for the longer trips that I sometimes take.

I have older (at least 10 years) AO coolers and the lining is much more sturdy, its thicker and made of better material than the new coolers which seem to be less effective in the longevity of the ice.
Why the change?

Ok, I like coolers...I need a size for everything I do. I have 3-4 different coolers from AO they all are great. But, this is a great little pack around for times when I just need a small cooler. AS always a great product at keeping things cold. Great job and I'd buy again tomorrow!

Purchased this cooler for kayaking. The interior volume is surprisingly MUCH smaller than the external volume. Wish the company quoted an interior volume in quarts instead of cans. I pack partially frozen 1 liter water bottles and 1 quart gatorade bottles. I don't use ice cubes; too inefficient. I need volume for water bottles and some extra space for lunch. This cooler is too small inside to fit three, one-liter bottles side-by-side. The problem lies in what feels like soft, low-density, open-cell foam insulation. It takes up far too much space inside. I replaced with an Engel 13-quart cooler/dry-box ordered through Target (on sale). The Engel takes up a little LESS space in my kayak's rear well, but it has MORE interior volume than the AO soft-side, 12 can. The Engel also costs a little less and is waterproof. The AO cooler's zipper will allow water to get inside. I later found "high density insulation" only mentioned on AO's website in reference to the Mossy Oak line, not the Carbon line. The AO website only states the Carbon has "twice the insulation" of competing coolers. I suspect Amazon's labeling is incorrect.
